This is the first project of its kind ever! The aim of the project is to give the young people of the Borough the opportunity to enter into dialogue with the Veterans about the war and also gives them an insight of what actually happened, from a first hand source. View photos. |
The project also gives the opportunity for Veterans to gain recognition for the cause that they fought for and this will build bridges between the young people and the Veterans. This project will also lead to more appreciation from young people towards society in general who were involved in the war. We would like to acknowledge the support of Stephen Irwin from Blackburn Musuem in this project.
Phase I (which is now completed) is now available on DVD for a small fee of £10 + P&P. Download order form to place your order.
